L'Shannah Tovah. The Tree of Life Congregation Sisterhood wishes you a happy healthy New Year filled with joy.

     Sisterhood is looking forward to a year of increased activities and dedication to the Congregation.

     A membership drive is being organized for late September-October. Our goal is to have all women in the Congregation become paid-up, active members. Please say yes when contacted. We are planning a year of fun and activities. Tree of Life congregation: Please join us to make our New Year a successful one.

     We are planning to have new curtains and valence for the Holy Ark and a Lectern cover before the holidays. This has been a joint action by the Ark Committee chaired by Kathy Abate. We wish to thank Marty Sippin for his patience and help in getting measurements for the Ark.

     Gwen Rosenbluth and her committee are in the early stages of planning a Game night in the Fall. Committee Members include Laura Cohen, Judy Cohen and Linda Herbst. Eleanor Simmons has already contributed several games.

     A committee is being organized to revise the constitution. Kathe Abate will chair the committee.

Sisterhood is a non-profit organization, and the entire amount of your dues may be tax-deductible, depending on your individual situation. (For more details, please consult your tax advisor.) Your cancelled check is your receipt.

The TOL Sisterhood pays $15.00 each year per member to Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), and $2.00 each year to the WRJ regional organization. The remainder of the dues directly benefits the Tree of Life Congregation.
